Our panel of judges convened for the final time on Sunday 29th June to not only choose the winners for the Spring section of the calendar, but to also pick the image that will appear on the cover.
It soon became apparent that picking the winning images for the Spring section was going to be hard work due to the quality of images entered but after lengthy discussions a decision was reached and we can announce that Laura Payton (Blue Tit Preening) and Amanda Prescott (Whispers of Nature) were successful in the adult category and Iris Weaver (Hello Flutterby) took the top prize in the under 10 category.
It proved equally as difficult for the judges to pick a winner for the cover competition. It was narrowed down to three images and after much deliberation a decision was finally reached and John Devries came out on top with his image Kingfisher Flight.
The organisers would like to thank our three judges (Karen Ellis, Guy Border and Alex George) for giving up their time to carry out this very important task. We would also like to thank Susie Comaish and her team at the visitor centre for accommodating us over the last year, we really appreciate it. Finally, thank you to everyone that has entered the competition and congratulations to those who's images have made it into the calendar, well done!!

Our judges met for the third time to choose the winning entries for the Winter section of the calendar on Sunday 16th March 2025.
The Winter section proved to be the toughest so far but after much deliberation the judges made their decision. As there were no entries in the U16 category the judges had to choose two images from the adult category and we're pleased to announce that Winter Robin and Frosty Morning, both by Chris Warrender, came out on top, so congratulations to Chris. The winning image from the U10 category was Hello Petal by Iris Weaver, well done Iris!! All entries for the Winter section can be viewed here.
Finally, we are now accepting entries for the Spring section of the calendar and watch out for a special announcement coming soon.

A group of photographers from the Bridgnorth Camera Club hosted a pet photography shoot on 18th August 2024 to help raise funds for the calendar competition, and it proved to be a successful and enjoyable day for all involved. To date the money raised as a result of image sales has reached nearly £200. Our thanks go to the staff and management of the park for allowing us to use the facilities on the day, and to the many dog owners that took part and who have subsequently made donations to obtain images of their pets.
